19 Nov Whitney & Viran {William Aiken House}
Long-distance couples really know how to make things work. Take Viran and Whitney, for instance. After the two got engaged, he continued with his studies at MUSC, while she went into planning mode from her home in Virginia. Her first step? Enlist Breeze to pull it all together. And boy oh boy, did their day turn out beautifully. With friends and family traveling to Charleston from near and far, they scored a stunning milestone day at the always-dreamy William Aiken House. The couple went for an intimate ceremony and said their vows inside one of the historic home’s luxe, colorful rooms surrounded by guests. From there, all gathered at tables that were scattered about the property’s ballrooms and wraparound porches for a lavish dinner from Fish Restaurant. Bold arrangements of peonies, ranunculus, and garden roses by Branch Design Studio graced the tabletops and setting, and later, all headed outside where a tented courtyard became the hub for drinks and dancing. By night’s end, everyone had already dived into their guest favors (bags of salty sweet benne wafers) and cheerily waved the couple on their way with sparklers. Congrats to Viran and Whitney on your wedding, and for your new life in the same zip code!
