08 Jan Vivien & Raymond {River Course on Kiawah Island}
How about we finish out the first week of 2016 with a bang? And by bang we mean with a big, beautiful, bloom-filled wedding that is sure to occupy your wedding-day dreams all weekend long. Vivien and Raymond tied the knot at the River Course on Kiawah Island, an elegant venue that boasts grand Lowcountry views, live oaks galore, and a clubhouse so pretty it hardly needs any decor. Here’s how it all went down: after a tender first look and an even more romantic outdoor ceremony, guests headed inside the ballroom where white linen tables were lined with dark chiavari chairs, topped with soft gold table runners, and adorned with wild arrangements—some small, some tall—of olive branches, white larkspur, blushing roses, and white hydrangea from Whitney of Branch Design Studio. (We’ll pause while you Pin for a few minutes…) Once guests had enjoyed a sumptuous dinner prepared by the club along with cake from Ashley Bakery, the dance floor was fast jumping with family and friends. In honor of the day—Halloween—some guests even opted for masquerade masks. From top to bottom, we can’t get enough of this dreamy wedding. Congrats to the newlyweds and thank you for letting us share your big beautiful day!
