Tessa and Doug’s outdoor wedding at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens was nothing short of colorful, creative, and fun. Photographed by Riverland Studios, the pretty wedding boasts wild bouquets of bold roses, daisies, Queen Anne’s Lace, and eucalyptus, which played beautifully against the bridesmaids’ black—yes, black—frocks. The quirky couple (who never looked back after their first date at the local watering hole, Closed For Business) said their vows in a tender waterfront ceremony surrounded by family and friends before heading into the plantation’s Carriage House for the reception. White draping hung from the rafters framing the chandeliers which were dripping in Spanish moss and ivy—so lovely! More bold blooms took residence on the tables as well as upon the white cake from Duvall Catering & Events that was wrapped in black satin ribbon. After an evening of dinner, dancing and delight, Tessa and Doug left through a tunnel of sparklers and began their married life. Cheers to the lovely couple!
