07 Jun Terri & Scott {Legare Waring House}
Terri and Scott’s Charleston wedding at the Legare Waring House is one of the loveliest we’ve seen, no matter it took place during the infamous 1,000-year flood last fall. Maybe it’s because they have great luck or maybe it’s because they enlisted the A-team of Hunter McRae behind the lens and Ashley Wentz of Boutique Planning for the details and design? Likely it’s a combo package of all those things. As for the look: they went for a classic undertone blended with Bohemian and eclectic touches like mix-and-match pendant lighting from TEC and whimsical florals from SYG Designs. (Those flowers, y’all—café au lait dahlias paired with deep magenta blooms, bunches of grapes, figs and plums, spilling from gold and silver vessels—does it get any prettier?) And to make the festivities ultra-personal, the couple tipped their hats to the Irish pub where they met, The Griffon, by inviting Moonlight Ale to play their favorite Emerald Isle tunes during cocktail hour. (Scott just so happened to own the iconic bar.) Love it! And with that, cheers to these lucky lovebirds.
