We’re getting into full Wedding Wednesday spirit over here thanks to Taylor and Spencer’s beautiful wedding at the Daniel Island Club. Although the two met and fell in love in Los Angeles, they chose to tie the knot in Charleston, where her family owns a vacation home on Daniel Island. Guests traveled from all over the country so providing a true Lowcountry experience was high on the priority list. It began with a breathtaking view of the marsh as Taylor and Spencer said “I do” by an altar arbor covered in blooming branches and roses by Charleston Stems. Next, guests got a taste of the region with scrumptious Southern bites during cocktail hour, then again with a fried chicken dinner. Yum! In true Southern fashion, the bride and groom graciously offered their guests wraps to keep warm in the chilly March air. But things certainly heated up, so much so Spencer jumped behind the drums for a surprise performance of “Uptown Funk”. Congratulations to Taylor and Spencer and thank you for showing your family and friends a good Charleston time!
