12 Jun Tate & Davis {Historic Rice Mill}
Color? Check. Romance? Check. More gorgeous details than I can handle? Check. Tate and Davis’ Charleston wedding is filling up our “perfect wedding checklist” and then some. Once Tate had slipped on her elegantly draped Carol Hannah gown and taken Davis’ breath away at their private first look, they joined with their colorfully clad bridal party to make their way to the Historic Rice Mill on the Ashley River. Although the sun had been shining all day, just as the open-air ceremony was about to begin, the skies opened up, too, for good luck rain showers. Thankfully, Hannah Grogan of Southern Protocol quickly moved the ceremony to the other side of the venue so Tate and Davis could say “I do” under the protection of the covered veranda. What’s even more impressive? Tate and Davis trusted Hannah so much that they let her completely surprise them with the design of their reception! Everything—from the bright teal and pink linens, the lush and wild florals from Charleston Stems, the ribbon wall of escort cards—was a surprise for the lovely couple. I’d say that these lovebirds made the right decision because this wedding is positively Pin-worthy! Now, sit back, relax, and soak up every gorgeous image by Aaron and Jillian Photography.
