With Thanksgiving and holiday entertaining just around the corner, we decided to take a minute to celebrate the all important tables cape. Yes, that right….décor is paramount to any gorgeous affair. And how gorg is this spread designed by the always impeccable Carrie Glassock of A Charleston Bride? The ACB team always knocks it out of the park and makes flawless look effortless. Carrie was kind enough to join us on TWR for some little gems of advice for creating jaw dropping tables for your personal entertaining.

When I design a tablescape, I love to use various textured elements and patterns to create interest.

It is important to keep the color pallet limited.

One of my favorite design elements to use on a table is colored glassware.

Never forget the type of meal that will be served when preparing the table. Service ware should be chosen very carefully, keeping portion sizes & the chef’s food presentation in mind.

A fresh ‘garnish’ (flower, herb, greenery or fruit) at each place setting helps to keep the tablescape seasonal.
