You know how they say that weddings are a marriage of two families? Well, Sydney and Mark are here to prove that point. The two, who wed on what has to be the luckiest day of the year—St. Patrick’s Day—started with a ceremony at The French Huguenot Church and chased that with a charmer of a reception at The Mills House Wyndham Grand Hotel just a block away. Because the bride’s father had passed, her brother walked her down the aisle and partnered with her for what’s traditionally the father-daughter dance after the newlywed’s first turn across the floor. But after a few twirls, Mark’s dad, now Sydney’s father-in-law cut in. How’s that for welcoming someone into the fold?
