09 Aug Styled Shoot | Wingate Plantation
What do you get when you pair photographer Dana Cubbage with planner Pamela Morgan? A beautiful, bright, and airy styled shoot at Wingate Plantation that surely will provide brides-to-be with wedding inspiration galore. The historic John’s Island property (a one-time cotton plantation with colonial roots) is populated with trees draped in beautiful Spanish moss, which provided the perfect neutral backdrop for a dynamic wash of color. “There are so many weddings today where you see only greenery with cream and blush,” Pamela says, “but I wanted to show that you can step outside of that box and come out with a beautiful design full of color.” Well, you sure did, gal. On top of the colorful furniture from The French Eclectic, check out my favorite part, that tasty cake from Carmella’s—the dessert bar on East Bay that has its own wedding cake biz, too. Almost too pretty to eat, right? Enjoy, all!
