People flock to Charleston for our downtown home tours, and the historic manses here make for some of the most romantic places to wed in the world. Shauna and Heath clearly knew the appeal when they exchanged vows in the 18th century William Aiken House. (The couple also really know how to party in the Holy City; just check out their wedding weekend lineup: a welcome party at 492, cruises on the harbor Saturday, and an after party at what’s now Parcel 32.) Behind the home’s two-story wrought iron gates, the crews from The Burlap Elephant and Ooh! Events teamed up to create a stunning outdoor celebration steps from King Street. Take the florals from Out of the Garden, a palette of sapphire blue, and the property’s yellow stucco walls, then add one gorgeous couple, and every last photo captured by Riverland Studios came out more than beautiful. Congrats to the newlyweds and all those who made the magic happen!
