We’re wrapping up another gorgeous week here at TWR with Sarah and Stevie’s elegant Charleston wedding captured by one of our lovely vendors, Jennings King Photography. After Stevie proposed to Sarah on a snowy hike in Northern Georgia (aww), the two began planning their Holy City celebration and the results were divine. Sarah spent the morning with her sweet sister (that’s her above) and her bridesmaids getting picture-perfect for the Big Day. With her blush bouquet of peonies, anemones and eucalyptus in hand, Sarah walked down the aisle of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church to marry her man as the 1840-era stained glass windows cast a romantic glow. Outside the church, a flock of bike taxis from Charleston Rickshaw awaited the wedding party to escort them in fun fashion to the reception at a nearby club. Jennings snapped fantastic portraits of the newlyweds with the Battery mansions in the background before the couple headed inside for the party. More beautiful florals from The Flower Cottage made the ballroom even more lovely while the Emerald Empire Band served up song after song and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long.
