02 Dec Sarah Craig & Bill {Wexford Plantation}
Head south on Highway 17 and you’ll eventually come to Hilton Head Island, a gem rimmed in gorgeous beaches, edged with expansive marshes, and peppered with moss-hung oaks that are so near and dear to the Lowcountry. It was to that evocative backdrop that Sarah Craig and Bill invited friends and family to join them for their wedding at Wexford Plantation, a luxe resort community with its own harbor, clubhouse, and more. And as majestic as the surroundings were, the celebration was sweet, Southern, and preppy to the hilt. Bundles of peonies and hydrangeas dotted the setting, bridesmaids donned royal blue silk frocks, and after the ceremony, there was a cornhole challenge with game boards honoring the bride and groom’s alma maters. The photo team at Ellis Photo Studio captured every detail of the affair, from Sarah Craig’s nude patent leather pumps and lace Romona Keveza gown to the classic centerpieces. But hands-down, our favorite shots are those of the dapper couple smiling from ear to ear throughout their Big Day. Enjoy the road trip!
