07 Aug Sarah & Anthony | Cotton Dock at Boone Hall Plantation
Lovely lavender is the name of the game today and we’re betting that when the crew at Pretty Petals of Charleston handed Sarah’s bridesmaids bouquets of fresh blooming lavender, the scent was to die for. It was just one element in a Deep South wedding thrown by Empire State natives Sarah and Anthony at Boone Hall Plantation. On a beautiful day this past May, the pair said “I do” in front of the iron gates of the palatial plantation home surrounded by friends and family. (For those still dress hunting, Sarah wore Pronovias.) From there, everyone strolled to the nearby Cotton Dock, where ivory fabric hung from the rafters and simple centerpieces of lanterns, candles, and mini arrangements of greenery and blooms accented each table. Cru Catering, whose chefs are maestros of Southern fare, served up a delicious spread before Darby Events turned the night into a dance hall. Safe to say these New Yorkers got the Southern wedding they’d dreamt of! Cheers to you, Sarah and Anthony!
