21 Oct Sara and Brad {The Citadel Beach House}
I love wedding goodness to the moon and back; the grandiose to the charm your socks off DIY affairs. This wedding at the Citadel Beach House is so melt your heart sweet, so endearing and so simply delightful. The kind of wedding where you can see how blissfully happy and in love the couple are with each other. It is easy to be swept up in the details of this endearing celebration. Sara wore her grandmother’s gown. Her mother had worn it too. The pots on the tables were mixing bowls filled with herbs that were given as gifts at the end of the night. The day was filled with music, Ann Caldwell sang at the dinner and then they had contra dancing all night. Their friends are musicians who all played. And instead of a cake, everyone brought a pie. Their photographer Liz Duren described the wedding as emotional and shared, “As a married woman, I was touched to see them approach with ceremony with tenderness and respect, not only for themselves, but for their family and the friends that came to share this blessing.”
