13 May Rebecca & Evan {Cotton Dock at Boone Hall Plantation}
Rebecca and Evan might have tied the knot on one the chilliest days this year at 40 degrees, but their celebration has done nothing but warm our hearts. Beautifully documented by Hyer Images, the happy couple exchanged vows at Palmetto Presbyterian before heading to the oak-covered grounds of Boone Hall Plantation for a stunning reception. The newlyweds and their wedding party took some time for some darling portraits under the Spanish moss before heading into the Cotton Dock where Ooh! Events and Out of the Garden had capitalized on the rustic space by adding clusters of antlers mixed in with taper candles and floral arrangements of greenery and burgundy dahlias. Pinterest-perfect, right? After guests had had their fill of cornbread whoopie pies with goat cheese-jalapeno filling and shrimp and grits from Cru Catering, the Travis Allison Band cranked up the volume and got the party going. From bouquets to balloons to beaming smiles, this winter wedding has us sufficiently inspired for the weekend.
