Rachel and Steven’s DIY nuptials were a true testament to the adage, “a family affair.” Their wedding was personalized in every way you could imagine. Custom crafted suitcase by the mother of the bride, check. Hand made pecan pie favors by Auntie Jo, check. Centerpieces carved by the groom, check. A bible verse crafted from remnants of Steven’s sister’s wedding dress that was hand stitched in Rachel’s gown by her grandmother, check, check! The list of homemade goodness goes for miles and miles for this endearingly sweet Charlestowne Landing affair captured by Taylor Rae Photography.
