The warm weather’s still in full steam here in Charleston (get it? full steam, as in humid? ahem…), so here’s Rachel and Sam’s summertime wedding at the River House for all you middle-of-the-year brides looking for inspiration. The ladies of Breeze, a service that offers packaged wedding planning and design, worked their magic for the couple to create a lush atmosphere at the intimate River House at Lowndes Grove. With the scenic Ashley River and marshes as their backdrop, Rachel and Sam tied the knot in a tender ceremony accented with bushels of white hydrangeas, rows of garden chairs, and a few joyful tears. Inside the reception space, navy table runners were adorned with clusters of blue glass bottles boasting white sweet peas, lisianthus, tulips, and roses perfectly placed by Branch Design Studio. Once guests had dined on a delicious spread (and gorgeous blue ruffle cake) by Patrick Properties Hospitality Group, the reception tent quickly filled up for a riverside dance party. Afterward, Rachel slipped into a LWS (little white sundress), took her new hubby in hand, and headed down the dock to a boat waiting to whisk them away.
