14 Aug Morgan & Alan {Gibbes Museum of Art}
We’re tying up the week with Morgan and Alan’s stunning wedding at the Gibbes Museum of Art and goodness gracious, it’s a beaut! Flawlessly designed and planned by the ladies of Loluma, the courtyard affair is brimming with steal-worthy ideas. For starters, a clear top tent was draped in a buttery color linen and then laced with strings of bistro lights; wooden chairs topped with sage seat cushions finished off this ceremony haven that gave stylish shelter to everyone as a Charleston rain storm that passed over. Once the lovebirds had sealed their vows with a kiss, the Loluma gals quickly (and seamlessly) flipped the tented space into a luxurious reception featuring white wash farm tables, copious amounts of candles, and white blue-hued florals like peonies, hydrangea and delphinium. Chic lounges of white leather ottomans, large scale floral arrangements, and custom throw pillows in the perfect shade of blue littered the site and offered a host perfect places to sip a glass of bubbly or enjoy the charcuterie from Salthouse Catering. Yes, we just might be obsessed. Cheers to the newlyweds and best of luck on your recent move to New Orleans.
