I don’t know about you, but these past few overcast days have left me wanting to curl up on the couch with a rom-com and something to snack on. Luckily, we have Monique and Erik’s wedding to gaze at and gush over! The pair met in true movie-like fashion: Erik moved in with a friend who happened to be neighbors with Monique, and she soon came by to pay a visit. Cue love at first sight and the happy-couple montage! Their Historic Rice Mill wedding—captured beautifully by Riverland Studios—was nothing short of superb, with its smartly pared-down décor and the sailboat-speckled skyline framing their vows. The couple’s apparent love for one another is a lovely breath of fresh air, as is the Rice Mill’s exposed brick backdrop and Tiger Lily Weddings’ neutral florals. The bright blue skies that graced their fête are a happy sight, too! Congrats, Monique and Erik, whose Big Day I’d watch again and again.
