26 Jul Molly & Caleb | Magnolia Plantation & Gardens
Caleb proposed to Molly on the iconic Long White Bridge at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens, so it only made sense for them to come full circle and exchange their vows at the very same 17th-century venue. Their wedding day, which took place just last month, was a toasty one, but you wouldn’t know it from these soft, dreamy images from Emily Meeks Photography. After the pair said “I do” in front of an ancient live oak, guests processed to the property’s Carriage House, where Peper Events and Frampton’s Flowers had decked out the space from top to bottom. To lighten up the darker wooden interior of the reception hall, soft drapery swags hung from the rafters and ivory linens covered the tables. And for pops of color, the design team worked bold blue linen napkins and fresh flora like peonies, stock, Queen Anne’s Lace, and ferns into the tablescape. One last steal-worthy element? Bring the indoors out! We are totally in love with the reception’s chic outdoor lounge area accented with more formal interior pieces like mirror-top tables and a faded blue vintage rug. Top the celebration off with bites by Cru Catering and a traveling photo booth a la Little White Box and this Charleston wedding was a surefire hit. Cheers, Molly and Caleb!
