19 May Michelle & RJ {Elopement}
To say that we are in love with Michelle and RJ’s elopement story would be a massive understatement. After enlisting the photography skills of CarolineRo, this no-fuss Austin-based couple packed their bags (which featured a custom suit for the groom and a custom altered BHLDN gown for the bride) and headed to the Holy City to tie the knot just two days before this past Christmas. Looming storms on the horizon didn’t shake this happy couple as they strolled the streets of downtown to capture pre-ceremony portraits with Caroline. They were so relaxed, they even stopped into local watering hole, Closed for Business, for a quick drink before making their way to a little nook next to St. Philips Church to tie the knot. There, Kristen Barner of Wedding Belle Rev led them through their vows in the sweetest (and smallest) of ceremonies. Afterward, Michelle and RJ hopped onto a rickshaw and enjoyed a chef’s dinner at Peninsula Grill to celebrate the first moments of their marriage. Romantic, right?
