Our week is getting off to a particularly gorgeous start thanks to Meredith and Will’s elegant Charleston wedding. Every image by Gayle Brooker is aglow with the effortless beauty that Kristin Newman Designs and Gathering Floral + Events wove together for this dashing couple. Once the two had been declared husband and wife in a breathtaking ceremony at First Baptist Church, the entire wedding party, guests in tow, processed through the streets of downtown following a marching band to a private waterfront club for the reception. High-top banquet tables were graced with gold-rimmed hurricane lamps and delicate vases of springy white, blush, and green blooms. Outside on the covered porch a lounge complete with more garden blooms awaited. (Check out how the throw pillows are reminiscent of Meredith’s lace Monique Lhuillier gown—just gorgeous!) Gayle, who often shoots stories for our parent title, Charleston Weddings, made sure to capture plenty of newlywed bliss via harborside portraits too—can you feel the love? And if the magnificent five-tiered Jim Smeal cake wasn’t enough, the bride and groom also served their guests a late night mini hot dogs and tater tots. Yum. A big congrats to the lovely couple and an equally big thank you for sharing your glorious day with TWR.
