30 Mar Melody & William {Old Exchange Building}
When both the bride and groom work in politics and were raised in the South, what better venue for them to tie the knot than in the 1772 Old Exchange Building, a national landmark in the heart of downtown Charleston that’s rooted in rich politics and history … and breathtaking plaster work. Melody and William exchanged (get it?) vows in one of the chambers there before heading to the ballroom to celebrate with their nearest and dearest over a delicious meal prepared by Cru Catering. The dining tables were topped with white linens, black runners, garden style centerpieces of greenery and white blooms from WildFlowers Inc., and custom printed thank yous with handwritten notes from the bride and groom. So chic! Congratulations, Melody and William, we know yours will be a romance for the (history) books!
