13 Aug Melissa & Don {Harborside East}
Whoever said only the bride can wear white never saw how dapper this groom and his groomsmen looked in their ivory seersucker suits! Lowcountry locals Melissa and Don pulled out all the stops for their whimsical spring wedding at Harborside East. And while the gents were clad in—literally—cool ensembles, Melissa was the embodiment of a true Southern belle in her strapless lace gown and pearls (with her gals looking equally charming in blush lace dresses). Add in the wedding party bouquets—stunners by On A Limb Floral Studio that draw your eye to every breathtaking detail of greenery and rose petals—and the overall effect was stunning. After a bundle of striking sunset portraits by Still Co., followed by the couple’s sweet “I dos” overlooking the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, everyone let loose with a celebration that included boogying down with colorful neon glow sticks to the beats of After 5 Music. At evening’s end, Melissa and Don strolled arm in arm through an aisle of sparklers to ride off in their brand new boat. Congratulations to this fun-loving twosome!
