When Melissa and Bill were introduced by mutual friends after each recently moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, it didn’t take long for their friendship to turn into love. Charleston quickly became a favorite getaway spot for the two, so when it came time to pick a wedding locale, the Holy City was an obvious choice. Lowcountry Weddings by Jessica worked with the destination couple to create a perfect celebration at the Historic Rice Mill on the Ashley River downtown, one complete with a dockside ceremony, gold chiavari chairs, and glamorous floral arrangements atop gold mercury glass pedestals.
