12 May Megan & John {Proposal + Engagement}
Alright ladies, get ready to have your hearts skip of few beats because Megan and John’s proposal and engagement session is quite possibly one of the most romantic things we’ve shared in a while. These lovebirds met at a “Friendsgiving” party in Charleston and quickly hit it off. After a year of dating in the Holy City, John put together a note-taking-worthy proposal. On a sunny evening, he and Megan strolled all over downtown stopping at some of their favorite spots before ending up at the Waterfront Park. He pointed out the pier and asked Megan if she saw anyone she recognized. As her eyes focused she realized that both of their entire families were at the end of the pier waving back, and when she turned back to John he was down on one knee asking her to marry him! But wait, there’s more: He had also flown in Megan’s favorite photographer, Natalie Franke, who had been secretly capturing the whole thing. Oh, goodness gracious! The proposal quickly turned into an impromptu engagement session as the couple and photographer strolled through the streets of South of Broad positively beaming with excitement. After a quiet dinner (for just the two of them), Megan and John met back up with their families at their favorite bar and celebrated all night. Now that is a fabulous way to ask a gal to marry you!
