We’re tying up this week of loveliness in a big purple bow with Megan and Joe’s wedding at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens designed by the ladies of Pure Luxe Bride. On a sunny day in May, Megan slipped on her lace Maggie Sottero gown and met her groom for portraits with photographer Dana Cubbage. After taking full advantage of the natural garden setting of the historic Charleston plantation, the couple said “I do” under the oaks outside of the rustic carriage house. Afterward, guests enjoyed cocktails and a few games of cornhole on the courtyard before heading into the reception space. Inside cream linens hung from the wooden rafters over round tables covered in mercury glass and mint julep vessels filled with blooms in the most rich purple and magenta hues. As the night winded down, Megan and Joe cut into a simple three-tiered cake by DeClare Cakes accented with light purple blooms of calla lilies and freesia, the same buds used in the boutonnieres. Love us some coordinating details! We are just crazy for this romantic design and darling couple… and pretty sure you will be, too!
