30 Jan Megan & Andrew {Historic Rice Mill}
The design gurus of gorgeous at Loluma are shining their beautiful bright light on this gem of a Charleston wedding at The Historic Rice Mill. The stunning bride had us at first glance with her impeccable sense of style. Her drop dead phenomenal LulaKate wedding gown paired with the perfect pop of sparkle of her earrings from Out of Hand has us weak in the knees. And the cherry on top of this stunner…it is a also a TWR debut. Each fabulous image was captured by Riverland Studios. We are sure we will be seeing lots more of prettiness from this team.

‘Designer of dress– LulaKate- this was the very first dress I tried on….the second I put it on I fell in love with it. It was so me, vintage but still modern and fun. I loved how I could mix and match other dresses in the store to come up with the one I envisioned. After I started trying on other dresses I just couldn’t get this one out of my head! I knew it was “the one”. It made me feel so angelic, and beautiful.
As far as my earrings I wanted something vintage and unique. I literally found these just weeks for before my wedding while out shopping with my mom from a little boutique in Charleston called Out of Hand. The bracelet I wore was my mother’s pearl and diamond bracelet, and was very similar to the bracelets I got my bridesmaids (bridesmaids bracelets from Jcrew). Since I has so much bling on my dress I wanted my jewelry to be classic and simple. My bridesmaids wore the adorable Allison dress from Jcrew in deep navy, and my maid of honor wore a more simple strapless dress to set her apart from the others! The guys wore black suits with a deep navy vest and tie from Men’s Warehouse.
We wanted our wedding to resemble us….not too over the top, classy, unique, and most of all FUN! Andrew and I met in college and one of the first vacations we took together was to Kiawah Island. I also grew up going to Charleston every summer so we found it appropriate to tie the knot there!’
