06 May McKenna & Matt {Magnolia Plantation & Gardens}
Alright, alright, I know I’m always saying how much I love weddings, but McKenna and Matt’s drop-dead gorgeous day has me spinning. For reals. Photographed by TWR darling Dana Cubbage, this springtime affair at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens is ready to take over your Pinterest boards. McKenna and Matt started the festivities with a romantic first look in the maze garden before meeting up with their super stylish bridal party for fun-filled group shots pre-ceremony. (Sidenote: Check out how Matt’s suit matches the deep blue anemones in McKenna’s bouquet perfectly. Nice!) Following those icebreakers, the couple exchanged vows by the river and then led guests into the carriage house for a reception so lovely it has my heart skipping beats. Silver dollar eucalyptus hung from the chandeliers, oyster shell escort cards waited for family and friends, and countless gorgeous blooms by Branch Design Studio graced nooks and crannies… I could go on and on but will leave you now with the photos, and one last mention of the piece de resistance: the adorable gold and white bloom-covered cake from WildFlour Pastry. Too cute! Add tunes—EPIC Charleston kept the music going—and McKenna and Matt didn’t leave the dance floor until it was time to depart via a tunnel of sparklers. A big congrats to the happy couple!
