Long-time lovers of the Lowcountry, Marianna and Clint knew right away that the historic plantation grounds of Boone Hall Plantation was were they would celebrate their Big Day. A combination of custom artisan finds from Etsy and the masterful designs of Kristin Newman Designs and Gathering Floral & Event Design resulted in a relaxed home-grown elegance that set the tone for the whole event. Using a color palette inspired by the natural hues of the landscape—taupe, soft blues, and blush pinks—the talented team of vendors transformed the plantation’s famous Cotton Dock into a glowing masterpiece. “The whole evening felt like we were sitting on a porch or couch at a friends house catching up,” says Marianna. “It was fantastic!”
