16 May Maggie & Justin | The Beaufort Inn
On the heels of their four-year courtship, Clemson alums Maggie and Justin (who met through a mutual friend) struck out for an overnight in the Ozark Mountains, one of their favorite places to hike. While they were sitting by the campfire watching the sun set, Justin popped the question by offering Maggie a ring set with her grandmother’s diamond–how sweet! Since Maggie grew up in the Lowcountry, they headed back home by way of the Beaufort Inn for their nuptials. There, Haley Horsfall of WED created a fanciful, boho-themed wedding, which, if we do say so ourselves, Hannah Alyssa captured with her signature feminine superlens (shoutout to our one-time intern who’s so fancy!). Throwing a slight kink into the proceedings was the bridegroom, who got in a snowboarding accident right before the wedding and hobbled around in a cast on the Big Day itself. “It sounds crazy,” Maggie says, “but honestly it couldn’t have been more perfect for him in a way. It was great to see him shake it off and have fun with it.” Having a blast no matter what? Congratulations on that as much as for all the prettiness, Maggie and Justin!
