19 Jul Mackenzie & David | Engagement Session
You’ve heard it once but now it’s time to hear it again. A dog is a girl’s best friend, too. And that rings especially true for Mackenzie, who insisted she bring her pup Rory (named after the darling Rory Gilmore–we love her, too!) to her engagement photos. Mackenzie and soon-to-be hubs David fell in love after meeting during a balmy high school summer as lifeguards. After four years of dating and we are sure many sunscreen applications, David knew that the time had come to make his lady his forever. He knew the glitz of the ring was important to Mackenzie, so he took time to make sure the stones and detailing were just right for his wife-to-be. Shine bright like a diamond! These two, who hail from Michigan, had their engagement photos snapped by the ever-talented Natasha Coyle Photography (I mean, just look at these photos), and they traveled to all the most romantic places in Charleston to do it. We’re talking Legare Waring, downtown Charleston, and our salty shoreline. Mackenzie says that the Spanish Moss and cobblestone roads of our historic city “provided the perfect Southern backdrop” for her and her David’s pics, not to mention the charm added by featuring their adorable pooch. The pair will swaps vows at Lowndes Grove Plantation in the Spring. And you better bet that Rory is part of the guest count.
