19 Apr Lizzie & Dan | Legare Waring House
Have you caught your breath after that incredible ceremony setup? Don’t worry, it took me a minute to, too! Lizzie and Dan, who “met” in the hospital nursery where they shared a birthday, met anew when they were 14 and have been inseparable since. With their shared love of the outdoors in mind, they selected the Legare Waring House and i’s stunning avenue of oaks for their wedding. Brady’s Flowers designed the breathtaking fern-lined aisle and floral ceremony arbor, and Lizzie’s whimsical flower crown, which only adding to the Midsummer Night’s Dream vibe of it all. Post nuptials, amelia + dan snapped portraits of the two under the live oaks, then all headed back to the home’s courtyard where a clear-top tent, twinkling with bistro lights and draped in billowing white fabric, held their guests. Café Catering followed dinner with shooters of banana pudding and strawberry shortcake—equal parts yummy and adorable. Oh, and did I mention the cookie bar? There was a cookie bar. Goodness, this wedding is wonderful in just about every way possible. All of our best to this sweet couple!
