19 Jan Lindsey & Christopher {Governor Thomas Bennett House}
Have we ever mentioned how much we love a DIY bride? Well, in case we haven’t said as much lately, we absolutely love ’em and today’s beautiful bride, Lindsey is a shining example. Lindsey artfully designed, planned, and put together just about every detail for her and Christopher’s beautiful wedding at the Governor Thomas Bennett House. Photographed by Gillian Claire, the affair boasted that perfect blend of Southern charm and vintage-styled fun. One of our favorite elements was the giant monogram that hung from the porch railing to make the perfect backdrop during their garden ceremony. The reception took place in the side yard under a tent where mahogany chiavari chairs and blushing blooms adorned every table. The first dance was followed by fun-filled toasts that got everyone hyped to dance and celebrate the rest of the night. From the handmade signs to the rustic tables built by the groom himself, we’re just head over heels for Lindsey and Christopher’s Charleston wedding.
