18 Oct Lela Rose Spring 2012 Collection | New York Bridal Market
After a quick cab ride over we met Lela Rose at her showroom. The space was light and airy, minimalistic and relaxed which was also a summed up the collection. The new seven piece collection was inspired by the places to get married in the city such as Highland Park, The Museum, and The Marina. Dresses such as The Grove and The Battery (personal favorites of mine) definitely correlated with Charleston’s style. We also learned that the staff loves Charleston as much as we do and took the inspiration for naming these gowns from our city. These dresses are so light and feminine, I LOVE them! The collection had lots of soft boatneck necklines, metallic lace detail and slimmer silhouettes. We were also impressed with the quality of workmanship and the delicateness of the designs which makes for a perfect combination.
