09 Jan Lauren & Paul | Magnolia Plantation & Gardens
Charleston’s known for its verdant landscapes and stunning vistas, so some of our favorite weddings here seem to rise straight from the ground like the most beautiful of gardens. Take Lauren and Paul’s Big Day at the storied Magnolia Plantation & Gardens, for instance. For a ceremony site that seamlessly melded with the natural beauty, Petaloso florists erected an earthy arbor dressed in fresh eucalyptus branches, and then accented the setting with blush and cream blooms along with more greenery. And, in sync with nature’s palette, where nothing ever matches precisely, the bride dressed her maids in frocks that varied from gold to champagne. Add in a groom who we’re pretty sure shed tears at the ceremony, his lady love who couldn’t have beamed any more, and a florabundant dessert spread from Sablee, and this simply lovely garden-inspired wedding was everything Lauren and Paul (and we) could have dreamed of.
