23 Feb Lauren & Ian | Boone Hall Plantation
Happy girls make for the prettiest brides—that’s how the saying goes, right? Well, it was certainly written as such for beauty Lauren and her hubby Ian who wed this past fall at Summerall Chapel at The Citadel. Their exquisitely Southern wedding (notice those Magnolia leaves sprinkled into the reception decor) snapped by Dana Cubbage tops our charts as an all-time fave because of their unique spin on an autumnal color palette—moody black, verdant green, feminine blush, and pops of copper—shades both unexpected and utterly gorgeous. After a first look under the Avenue of Oaks, groom in a smashing suit and bride in a beaded stunner by Hayley Paige, the smitten twosome sealed the deal with their adorable ring bearer (who just happened to be their son, Jude) in tow. In honor of Ian’s alma mater, The Citadel, and his service in the military (he left for Army training a week after the nuptials), the newlyweds exited hand-in-hand underneath a sword arch only to make their way to an even bigger celebration at Boone Hall Plantation. Congratulations to this beautiful couple and their precious baby boy on a lifetime of happiness. We’re sure it’s going to be filled to the brim!
