02 Jan Lauren & Brad {Ocean Course at Kiawah}
We’re rolling on with celebrating brand spanking new 2015 by pouring just one more glass of bubbly to toast another new beginning—that of a newly minted Mr. and Mrs. Congrats, Lauren and Brad! The Colorado residents turned to the Ocean Course at Kiawah for a blend of relaxed Rocky Mountain energy and classic Lowcountry style for their Big Day this past May, and we can’t be sure whether we’re more in love with the University of South Carolina graduates’ bow-tied Golden or with Hunter McRae’s snaps of Brad twirling his bride in her Modern Trousseau frock. What we do know, though, is that Gathering Events swept in a sea of fresh inspiration with floral designs full of peonies, hydrangea, and roses in soft pinks and whites, while Sugar Bakeshop kept dessert light(ish) with fresh berries as sweet toppers (we’ll take one of those with our champ, please). To close out the night, Lauren and Brad dashed through a shower of raining rose petals toward their vintage Dodge getaway, waving “So long” before sharing an endearing smooch. Love it top to bottom.
