“Classic, traditional, and Southern,” are the words Lauran used to describe her vision for a dream Big Day with fiancé Alex. Well, safe to say that their winter affair hit those inspirational notes and then some! Captured by Dana Cubbage, the January wedding at the Historic Rice Mill boasted a lush neutral foundation with a bevy of natural elements like turkey feathers, magnolia leaves, and even fruits and vegetables in incredible arrangements by Branch Design Studio. Add Lauran’s bridal look—a three-piece Paloma Blanca ensemble, including a skirt, cropped top, and lace overlay (holy moly), nude Christian Louboutin pumps, and romantic chignon—and you’ve got classic, indeed … with a pinch of Southern sass. With Elm Events pulling everything together, the results are nothing short of perfect. Congrats, Lauran and Alex!
