We’re heading into the first weekend of August (check out all the Charleston-area steals for brides this tax-free weekend here) with a wedding equal parts sparkly and colorful. Laura and Jake’s wedding at the Legare Waring House stole our hearts the moment we first laid eyes on the images by Jenna Marie Weddings. Planned, designed, and flowered by Beth at WildFlowers Inc, this plantation wedding features everything from blooming dog collars to sweetgrass ceremony fans and gold sequin linens on the cocktail tables, special little touches that take it from pretty to downright gorgeous. The bouquets and centerpieces were composed of bold blooms like pink and orange ranunculus, roses, hydrangea, succulents, and pincushion proteas to create a lighthearted and textured feel. We also love the subtle nautical theme seen throughout the day from the anchor throw pillows to the life preserve prop in the glittering photo booth. Bravo to Laura and Jake and a cheers to a fun summer weekend for all of you!
