14 Sep Kristin & Drew {Hibernian Hall}
What better way to close out this week than with a all out stunner of a wedding photographed by the lovely Kate Thorton of Captured by Kate! Everything is to the nines on this one… the gown, the decor, the florals, everything! And it’s no wonder why that’s the case when the talented Elisabeth Toms is behind it all. The bride chose to use purple and silver on her big day which made for a romantic and sophisticated color palette. I love how the bridesmaids wore that rich deep purple and the moms chose silver gowns to compliment! So elegant. Kristin and Drew’s ceremony took place in the extremely ornate Unitarian Church of Charleston, followed by a flawless reception at the Hibernian. I love how the Hibernian Hall has the perfect amount of Charleston historic charm while still offering the space and grandeur of a ballroom. Every table is full of flowers, stemware, and beautifully printed menus tucked into napkins which are the perfect shade of plum, and then surrounded by silver chiavari chairs! Another bit of fabulousness? All of the papers and invitations where graphically inspired by the ceiling of the Unitarian Church… and it was the groom’s idea!
