Say hello to today’s super-cute couple Kristen and Will, who tied the knot at The River Course at Kiawah Island this past summer. These two sweeties originally crossed paths at a Halloween party, and a year later—they inadvertently ended up joining the same kickball team and have been together ever since. As for the proposal? During a Fourth of July (Kristen’s favorite holiday) weekend getaway to Kiawah, Will got down on one knee and asked the love of his life to marry him. For the wedding, they returned to the island, and hosted an open-air ceremony and clubhouse party. Aside from their red-white-and-blue exit (a tip of the hat to their engagement), here’s my favorite moment: Take a look at how Kristen’s grandmother reacted when she saw how beautiful her granddaughter looked in her Modern Trousseau gown.
