06 Apr Kitt & Walid | Lowndes Grove Plantation
You might have seen this fetching duo in the latest issue of Charleston Weddings magazine (see their story here), where they shared about having a traditional American ceremony here in the bride’s hometown before heading to Casablanca for a traditional Moroccan wedding in the groom’s hometown. Our parent title was only able to run a few shots of their Charleston Big Day, so here—thank you, Interweb for your infinite space—is that gorgeous affair in its entirety. Oh, and for those who wonder how these New York City residents met, that’s where Tinder and the 2016 blizzard come in. “Walid and I had been messaging for a few days intermittently,” says Kitt, “but I kept forgetting to write him back. That snowy Saturday he convinced me to meet him for drinks. We ordered Old Fashioneds and…” and here we all are in 2018. Check out the decked out day (shot by Anne Rhett, who has known the bride since they were kids) at Lowndes Grove Plantation and all the stunning stylings of Ooh! Events.
