To kick off the weekend, we’re serving up a healthy dose of classic Charleston charm mixed with a pinch of fairy tale grace. Of course, “fairy tale” is basically synonymous with Magnolia Plantation and Gardens at The Wedding Row, so we’d expect nothing less from any soirée at the site. And yet we’re still blown away by Kayla and Scott’s wedding with its ceremony in sight of the venue’s lacey white bridge. The enchanting fête, was filled with Keepsakes Florist’s cream and ivory floral creations, which popped against Kayla’s something blue—navy multi-way maids gowns by Jenny Yoo. The midnight hue also appeared on dining tables, while The Cake Stand’s confection sat atop a glittery cloth on the wraparound porch. After their picture-perfect private first look (come on, have you seen a more magical shot than that of the pair on Magnolia’s white bridge? Bravo, Dana Cubbage Weddings!) Kayla and Scott said “We do” and explored the gardens while their guests spent cocktail hour sipping and socializing. Then upon their return to the party as Mr. and Mrs., the couple hit the dance floor and didn’t stop until it was time for their dreamlike day to wind down, when they dashed into their carriage, AKA getaway car. Now mix up something for yourself this Friday night, shake it or stir, and toast to romance with us. Congrats, Kayla and Scott!
