25 Feb Katie & Steve {Creek Club at I’On}
Pretty in pink! Katie and Steve’s wedding at The Creek Club at I’On is exactly what all of us need to coax out a spring state of mind in the midst of all this wacky weather. While Katie fanned away tears of excitement and nerves while waiting in her gorgeous Amy Kuschel gown, guests treated themselves to glasses of lemonade and sweet tea before taking a seat under the creekside oaks for the ceremony. Katie then trailed her bridesmaids (her sister and darling nieces) down the aisle, where she met Steve, said “I do”, and sealed everything with a sweet kiss met with the cheers of their friends and family. Before heading into the clubhouse, the newlyweds spent some time with photographer Reese Moore on the dock for beautiful portraits highlighting Katie’s pink Kate Spade heels and her colorful bouquet of roses and calla lilies. Inside the clubhouse MOD Events had fashioned a colorful reception featuring navy linens, mint julep cups filled with pink blooms, dark-stained chiavari chairs, and a three-tiered rosette cake by DeClare Cakes. After dining on a delicious meal prepared by the Creek Club team, a serious dance party commenced on the dance floor and went well into the night.
