Katie, a Charleston native, knew that she wanted to marry her Air Force pilot beau in her hometown, so naturally Lowndes Grove Plantation seemed a perfect fit with its sweeping marsh views, historical color palette, and endless Southern charm. Once she and Matthew had been pronounced husband and wife in the stunning Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, guests headed to the plantation where the ladies of Pure Luxe Bride and WildFlowers Inc. had filled the draped tent with crisp white linens, crossback chairs, navy printed maps and street names for table numbers, and copious beautiful blooms. Beautiful! Thankfully, Richard Bell Photography was behind the lens making sure that every pretty detail and all the special moments were documented, including their paper airplane departure—so sweet!
