28 Feb Katie & Brad | Legare Waring House
It’s no secret that weddings are a beyond wonderful place for singles to connect. That “love is in the air” vibe is crazy contagious and, spoiler alert, it played a part in how Katie, today’s model of a bride, hit it off with her dude Brad. Katie plucked up the courage to ask Brad to be her date to her brother’s nuptials and apparently that night (and those feels) were all it took as this couple was inseparable shortly thereafter. Following an Alaskan proposal (how cool!), these Virginia residents secured Dana Cubbage and Legare Waring House, two Holy City wedding staples, for their destination “I do’s.” Since most of their guests had never experienced Charleston, the twosome opted for a clean and classic-hued wedding, showcasing the beauty of the venue’s Southern grounds and letting their love be the focal point of the Big Day. Twinkling string lights added elegance to their alfresco affair, fresh pastel blooms from Purple Magnolia Floral Design amped up the sweetness, and gold-rimmed tabletop rentals dazzled one and all. Let’s raise a glass to these two, a bride and groom who truly know how to throw a party.
