Have I mentioned how much I love a bride who’s not afraid of color? Well, here comes Katie, who considers turquoise a neutral color. With that and aqua hues anchoring the day’s design, Katie (who eschewed heels for minty blue Keds) exchanged vows with her groom, Adam, in a traditional church ceremony downtown before heading to the Legare Waring House for their colorful reception designed by Pure Luxe Bride. At the estate, a tented courtyard was filled with turquoise linen tables, countless blooming arrangements of bright and fun flora by Branch Design Studio, and a series of glamorous gold chandeliers. Ah-mazing! As the guests began to tuck into the scrumptious spread by Cru Catering, Katie and Adam stole away for seriously sweet post-wedding portraits with Dana Cubbage. Can’t you just feel the love radiating off of these two? Throw in a visit from the King of Pops popsicle stand, tunes from Plane Jane, and a packed dance floor and this celebration was equal parts beautiful, fabulous and fun—just like Katie and Adam.
