Have we mentioned how much we love getting to feature the weddings of the Charleston brides whom we’ve featured on the site before in bridal or engagement sessions? Well, just in case we haven’t said it lately, we love it! It’s like we all get a front-row seat to their unfolding love story, chapter by chapter. Today is one of those days and here’s peek into Katherine and Parker’s sweet Southern wedding photographed by Reese Moore. Katherine, who looked a vision in her mermaid lace gown and funky vintage shoes with blue laces, said “I do” to her Citadel-grad beau, Parker, in the Summerall Chapel. Following the ceremony, the wedding party marched across the grounds of the military college posing for charming portraits before heading up the road to Ravenel, South Carolina. Once at the Poplar Grove Boathouse—an intimate waterside clubhouse boasting of wooden beams, wraparound porches, and a crackling fireplace—the new Mr. and Mrs. celebrated the night surrounded by bushels of blue hydrangea, candlelight, and loved ones. Sighs all around.
