11 Nov Kate & Joe {Historic Rice Mill}
Kate and Joe met at a bowling alley, dated for several years, got a dog together, and took more trips to Charleston than they can count. So it didn’t surprise many who knew the two when they got engaged and then planned to tie the knot here in the Holy City. A few months after the big ask, the couple convened at the Historic Rice Mill downtown with friends and family, where, following an outdoor ceremony flanked by gorgeous barrels topped with abundant arrangements of pink peonies, baby’s breath, and seeded eucalyptus, they headed inside for a reception that was rustic elegance personified. Mason jars wrapped in burlap and lace and filled with blooms dotted the waterside venue, while guests noshed on treats from Good Food Catering and played cornhole. Later, Ascend Entertainment cranked up a dance party that lasted through the night. Rustic, relaxed, and romantic to boot, this Katelyn and Joseph’s wedding is nothing short of inspiring!
